Welcome to Ms.Young's class!

    Welcome to my web page! I am so excited about this upcoming school year! I am a graduate of Delta State University.  I earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Elementary Education.  I also earned a Master's Degree in Elementary Education.  This will be my 15th year teaching.

     I was born and raised in Greenville MS. I am a proud graduate of T.L Weston High School and Delta State University.  I have a beautiful daughter named Kennedy. She is a 8th grader at Lake Cormorant Middle School.

    Teaching has always been a passion for me.  I can't think of anything more rewarding than pushing a child to the next level of learning.  I have strong expectations for my students and hold them accountable for their learning and behavior. I challenge my students to make positive decisions and choices. Its very important that they are active in our learning community.  Teaching is more than a job, it's a chance to educate our future leaders. I take pride in that responsibility.
