Hello, my name is Kimberley Trillet.  My husband and I, with our four children, moved to Horn Lake, Mississippi from North Carolina in 2010, where I received my Master of Library Science from East Carolina University.  I have been a Desoto County Employee for since 2012 serving as a Teacher’s Assistant and also teaching 7th Grade English and 6th Grade Read 180.  I have been at Walls Elementary since 2017 as the librarian.

My husband and I also serve as Pastor and Pastor’s wife at First Baptist Horn Lake.  We love Desoto County and look forward to helping the parents and students of Walls Elementary for many years to come.

The Walls Elementary School Library is dedicated to ensuring academic excellence through the providing of quality books and electronic resources that inspire a love for learning in the midst of a conducive learning environment.

Epic offers over 35,000 titles for students to read.  It has non-fiction and fiction titles, as well as, educational videos.  During school, the students can use the code below.  After 3:00, the code no longer works and the students will have to purchase an account.  Go to www.getepic.com and find out how to use this amazing resource.

Strong Reader-Strong Leader

First Regional Library
First Regional library offers free ebooks, overdrive e-books and digital magazines through their online catalog.  Users need to have a library card and pin number to access these materials.  If you do not have a library card, they have a link on their website to request one.  www.firstregional.org 

Magnolia Online Resources
Mississippi residents have free access to reliable, academic peer-reviewed journals, and age appropriate information for research.
