My Expectations:

I have high expectations for my students to be successful this year. In my classroom, my students will be responsible, respectful, kind, try their best, and never give up. We will focus on having a growth mindset and celebrate our improvements no matter how small!

Schoology:

If your child is absent, they can get all their missed assignments online via schoology. This will also be a great resource if they get behind or lose their class notes.

Hello Parents and Caregivers! My name is Lana Herbert and this will be my 6th year teaching for Desoto County Schools! I am so excited to be teaching your student 4th grade science for the 2023-2024 school year. Let's Go Gators!!!

My Education:

I received my Bachelor of Arts in Education from the University of Mississippi. I am certified to teach k-6 as well as endorsements in English, Social Studies, and Special Education.

Personal Info:

I live in Southaven with my husband Ryan and our daughter Autumn. We have 4 fur babies: Wrigley, Swayze, Fenway, and Bali. We love spending time together traveling as a family to new destinations.
